WALKTHROUGH.

This here is the beginning of the runboard FF walkthrough. This is my installment. From the beginning up to Kalm. PM me with suggestions regarding how to improve this. Thanks. A lot of effort went into this so don't be too harsh.

Complete
Walkthrough

Statistics

This is a list of the statistics that affect everything about your character. (In alphabetical order)

1. Dexterity (Dex)
This stat affects evasion and the ATB (Active Battle Guage) which is how long it will be until your next turn etc.
2. Experience (Exp)
You will receive experience from the enemies that you kill. It is Exp that defines when you level up. That is, the more experience you are getting the faster you will level up.
3. Hit Points (Hp)
This is one of the most important stats. This is the amount of damage you can take before your character dies.
4. Level (Lv)
This is the stat that shows the current level of your character. This stat goes to Lv99
Once you reach the world map and the game begins to open up even the characters not in your party will slowly level up.
5. Luck (luck)
This one determines three things, What and how many items you will receive after the battle, Your chanse of landing a critical hit on the enemy and How often you encounter random battles.
6. Magic (mag)
This determines how much damage your magic attacks do.
7. Magic Points (Mp)
This is like Hp for magic, every spell you use requires a certain amount of Mp. When you run out or have too little for a certain spell then you can’t use it. Ethers restore your Mp.
8. Spirit (Spr)
This is your magic defence. The higher this stat the less damage you will take from spells.
9. Strength (Str)
This factor governs how much damage your physical attacks will do on the enemy.
10. Vitality (Vit)
This is your physical defence. A high level in this will greatly reduce the damage you take from the enemies physical attacks.

The magic Elements

Ice:
Does ice/cold damage to the enemy. Good against Fire types and often this is good against Mechanical enemies too.
Fire:
Does fire/heat damage to the enemy. Good against Ice creatures and biological (non- mechanical) enemies too.
Bolt:
Does lightning/electricity damage to the enemy. Good against water enemies and can de good against Ice enemies.
Earth:
Does Earth/ground based damage. Good against any enemy that is on the ground but obviously it won’t work against flying enemies.
Gravity:
Does gravity based damage. Some enemies have immunity to it but against those who don’t this magic will take off ¼ of their Hp.
Poison:
Poisons the enemy and this effects them on their turn every round. Some are immune to this but it is very strong against those who aren’t.
Holy:
Does, well, Holy damage. Good against every enemy in the game.

Status Ailments

Although the title of this section refers to them as ailments some are actually helpful.
One again they are in alphabetical order.
1. Beserk
This is kind of a 50/50 status. The character that is affected cannot control themselves and just attacks enemies at random. The good side to this is that speed and strength are increased.
2. Confuse
The one affected with this one will become confused as the name suggest and just stands there spinning around. When its his/her turn they will attack any o the screen, the enemy, other characters and even themselves.
3. Darkness
The affected character this time will find it difficult to land a blow on the enemy. Hence the name darkness. A black cloud obscures the characters sight.
4. Death sentence
A counter will appear above the affected characters head and countdown from 60 to 0 When it reaches 0 the character will die.
5. Frog
As the name would suggest when inflicted with this one your character will turn into a frog!! In this form your attacks will only do 1 damage and you cannot use magic.
6. Fury
I would consider this a good one. Your accuracy will go down a bit but you Limit Breaks will charge much faster and your normal attacks do more damage.
7. Paralysis
The affected character is paralysed and unable to move or perform any actions. If everyone is inflicted by this it is the same as if they were all killed.
8. Petrification
The affected character turns to stone. Once again if everyone is inflicted it is game over.
9. Regen
This is a self inflicted one. For the duration of he spell the affected characters hit points are restored gradually.
10. Sadness
This one is the opposite to Fury. Your attacks will do less damage and the Limit gauge will fill much slower.
11. Silence
The effected character is rendered unable to use magic but they can still use normal attacks.
12. Sleep
As the name suggests this will put your character to sleep. The will be woken up when attacked physically or just after a certain length of time.
13. Slow-Numb
The character that is afflicted with this will turn to stone after the turn
14. Small
This one is like Frog. Your attacks will do only 1 damage.

Battle Terms

1. Attack
This is just the characters regular physical attack. In some situations the enemy will be ‘out of reach’ and you wil be forced to use magic.
2. Limit
When a characters Limit guage is filled the Attack command is replaced with ‘Limit’
Use this to unleash an extra powerful attack or in some places it is better to keep it lke if there is an upcoming boss fight. To ‘keep it’ you will have to use magic. Items and summons etc.
3. Magic
When you use this you will see a list of the spells that character can use, depending on what materia he/she has. If you don’t have enough Mp you will not be able to cast spells.
4. Summon
When you use this one you will see a list of the summons that that character can summon (no better way to put it) these depend on what summon materia that that character has equipped and once again whether you have enough Mp or not will be a factor.
5. Item
This will give you a list of your items but you will not be able to use all of them in battle. The ones you cannot use are displayed in grey.
6. Change
This command makes your character move from the front row to the back row and vice versa. Those in the back row take less damage but do not have as strong an attack as normal.
7. Defend
This command means your character will take less damage until his/her next move.

These are not the only commands you will get more from the yellow materia such as sense, manipulate, mime, steal and the list goes on. Thes you will find out about when and if you get the corresponding materia. Other things to note about battles are thy different types:

Back Attack: Your party will be attacked from behind and the enemy will get to strike first.

Pre-emptive: This is like your party ‘back-attacking’ the enemy. You get to attack first and your attacks do lots of damage to enemies with their backs turned.

Attacked from both sides: In this there will be enemies on the left and right of you and is quite annoying.

Side Attack. This is where you are on both sides of the enemy. This makes battles significantly easier.

Section 1, A: First Reactor-The Beginning
After the opening video you see yourself (a yellow spiky haired youth) disembark rather dramatically
from a train with some others. The two guards are slain before you gain control of your characters this
saves a bit of work. The first thing you should do is examine the body of the guard closest to you to
get two Potions from him. Head in the direction that the others did earlier, your first battle beckons.
This shouldn’t provide any trouble as these guards are weak. As of yet the only options you have in
battle are Attack, Magic and Item. More will come later don’t worry. For now you don’t even need to
use magic, just Attack will do. Once you have taken care of your first enemies you should continue on
after the others. Here you will join back up with the others and will be asked to name two characters, the
first one is you , Cloud, I will refer to all characters using their default names for this walkthrough. And
the second is Barret, A tough looking man with a gun for an arm. You do not get to control him until
later. Your next task is to simply follow the others into the reactor. If you want, it may be advisable if
you are a first time player, you can run outside the reactor door where the others went and get into few
battles to familiarise yourself with the battle controls as the enemies here won’t put up much of a fight.

Once you think you know enough about the battle system head in the door. Once inside follow Biggs,
Wedge and Barret. Wedge will go to the left to secure the exit. I doubt he’d be much use in a fight
anyway. In the next area Barret will join your party by ah, well, disappearing inside you. Now talk to
Biggs and Jessie and they will open the doors for you. Go into the little room (not the way Jessie goes)
and examine the chest to receive a phoenix down. Now go talk to Jessie and get into the elevator. Once
inside follow her instruction (simple really) and exit the elevator. Follow Jessie once again all the way
down the stairs and through the door. Keep following her across the gap and then down the ladder.
When she stops be sure to pick up the Potion lying on the ground in front of her. Now continue down
deeper into the reactor, only one path to follow so you won’t get lost, just go down the slope beside
the Potion, then down the ladder, run straight across to the other and down it to your first save point.

I suggest saving here as your first boss fight is just ahead. Head along the walkway beside the save
point. Pick up the restore materia on the ground in front of you on the next screen. As of yet you are
unable to do anything with it but pick it up anyway. Keep going forward and Cloud will automatically
plant the bomb on the reactor core. After he does this an alarm will sound and before you know it you
will be in your first boss fight. It’s the ‘Guard Scorpion’. He looks rather intimidating in comparison to
what you have fought before but not to worry, he is easily taken down if you follow these simple steps.

Guard Scorpion : HP = 800

 1. Make sure you have full health going into the fight.
2. I usually get Clouds and Barrets Limit gauges filled before the fight, you can do this by fighting normal enemies near the save point and your gauge will fill as you take damage. This will also give you extra experience points which will help you level up.
3. During the fight have Cloud Attack with bolt and have Barret use his normal attack.
4. Keep a watchful eye on the health gauges and use Potions whenever your characters health goes below half. Better safe than sorry.
5. About halfway through the fight Guard Scorpion will raise his tail over his body as an actual scorpion would. It is unadvisable to attack at this point because he will counter Attack with tail laser, a very powerful move which will do you big damage this early in the game. Just use this time to heal your characters if needed, wait until he puts his tail back down and start attacking him again.

This fight will be over quickly if you just take your time and think about what you are doing. Your reward will be a new weapon for Barret.
After the battle a countdown timer will appear in the top left of the screen. This indicates your time
remaining before the reactors blows. Not to worry though because this is plenty of time. Firstly equip
Barrets new gun to make battles a little easier for yourself. The next section is very easy, retrace your
steps to where you left Jessie, Back across the walkway, (might be an idea to save), up the ladder here,
across to the other one that you came down and go up this one too. This will bring you to Jessie, Talk
to her to help her pull her foot out because it is stuck. Keep going upwards towards where you got into
the reactor and once again you will have to talk to Biggs and Jessie for them to open the doors for you.
As you leave another cut-scene of the reactor blowing up rather spectacularly is shown. After another
short scene with Jessie demonstrating her demolition skills you will regain control of Cloud. Follow
Barret up the steps. You will now encounter Aeries for the first time (the girl with the flowers you saw in the opening video) Its up to you what you say to her as it doesn’t actually affect the storyline. Exit this screen in the same direction as Aeries and make your way through this plaza picking up the Potion near the exit. As you move forward in the next area you will be hailed by some soldiers. You have two choices, you can run or fight. I suggest fighting to pick up the extra experience points. After these two there will be a group of three with whom you’ll have the same choice and after them yet another group of three. It is possible to fight the full eight or just run from them when given the option. Either way this scene finishes with Cloud being cornered end then leaping onto the passing train which happens to be the one AVALANCHE are riding in. When you gain control of Cloud on the train you should follow the others into the passenger car and then talk to Jessie to look at the map of Midgar with her. After the
security check talk to Barret and then the train ride finishes at the train station in the slums. Yet again
follow the others, this brings you into the sector seven slums. Save at the save point and then continue
 onto the next screen.

Section 1, B: Sector seven Slums
Move onto the next screen now into the little collection of houses where Tifas bar is located (the
building that AVALANCHE go into. The other buildings can wait until later so the first thing you
should do is to talk to Barret and go inside when he moves out of the way. When inside you will meet
Tifa for the first time. Tifa is Clouds childhood friend. If you bought a flower from Aeries earlier you will
now be given the option to give either to Tifa or Marlene. It does not matter who you give it to. Once
you regain control of Cloud you should try to leave the same way you came in. This will prompt Barret
to come barging in the door. You can now follow the others down to AVALANCHES secret HQ or talk
to Tifa who will give you a drink if you want it. When your finished with Tifa you should head down to
AVALANCHES meeting. Walk towards Barret to talk with him and to see him punch Biggs. Talk to the
others if you want and when you are ready head upstairs and make to leave, you will be stopped by
Tifa where you will see a scene from Clouds past. Then Barret will arrive and give you your pay, 1500
gil. . Now you will sleep, in the morning head upstairs and you will be offered an optional materia
tutorial, if you are a first time player then I suggest you watch it. Both Tifa and Barret will now join your
party so just head out the door now. In the top of this area is a red haired man surrounded by a group
of people. Not that it matters or has any consequence to the story-line but his name is Johnny and you
will encounter him many times over the game. Your first port of call now should be the item shop the
building in the bottom left of this area. The man in this shop stocks:
Item Price (gil)
Potion 50
Phoenix Down 300
Antidote 80
Materia Price (gil)
Fire 600
Ice 600
Lightning 600
Restore 750

My advice in this shop would be to buy Fire and one of the other Attack materia, your choice. Once that
is done equip restore and Fire on Barret and the other Attack Materia on Tifa, well the combination is
up to you but those are the ones I suggest buying. The next place for you to visit is the big building
beside the shop. On the first floor here there is a weapon shop that stocks:
Weapon Price (gil)
Iron Bangle 160
Assault gun (you already have one) 350
Grenade 80

Here you should buy three Iron Bangles and equip them on your characters for extra defence. Now head
to the second floor, a must for first time players. First thing to do up here is pick up the ‘All’ materia on
the ground in front of you, Then open the chest that falls down in front of you to receive another
Phoenix Down. Now if you talk to the dog behind you he will explain all the button configurations.
Then if you talk to the man beside the dog a list of tutorials becomes available, the list is as follows,
How to save
How to heal your allies
Curative magic
Weapons and armour
How to apply materia
Effective ways to use materia
How to form your battle party
How to check your status
About Limit Status
Other things to watch for.

Now you should talk to the girl in the corner about save points. The three men that seem to be flexing
their muscles all give the same set of options no matter which one of the three you talk to, Battle
 pointers and tutorials.
About ATB
The numbers on the screen
About [change] and [defend]
About the gauges
About [status]
About [elementals]
About [help]

That’s about it for the beginners hall except for on the third floor you can sleep in the beds to recover
your health and magic points but they should be full already so no need to go up there. The only other
building in this area is Johnnys house. Nothing in here except his parents who are sad to see him leave.
Feel free to look around this area some more and when you are ready exit to the screen that has the
save point that you used earlier (it’s the first you are if you exit this area)

Section 1, C: The Train and Finding the Reactor
Now go to the train station you were at earlier and follow AVALANCHE onto the train. When you control Cloud again go look at the map again except this time it’s with Tifa instead of Jessie. After looking at the map for a few moments with Tifa an alarm will sound, AVALANCHE have been discovered on the train.
The only way to not get caught is to start working your way up the train car by car as will be explained to you in the game. You will only be allowed 15 seconds in each carriage. Don’t be too worried though as this is usually enough time provided you don’t run into something and get stuck behind it for a few seconds. Also if you get trapped you won’t die or anything you will simply just off the train there and then and you will still end up in the same place as you would had you not gotten trapped.

This first carriage is easy to exit as you are right by the exit so when the timer starts all you have to do is leave the same way Barret and Tifa did. In the next car run to the end opposite where you are standing but before you leave there is a man on the left of the screen near the exit who will give you a high Potion if you talk to him. If you are low on time don’t risk it.
Move onto the next car now, About halfway down this one you will be robbed by an unsavoury looking character who will run to the door you just came through, what you do here is up to you. You can cut your losses and run for the next door or you can go after the man to get back your money. I always go after him out of principle, its my money and no-one else can have it. If you run after him and then talk to him you will be posed a question so he can tell if you know he robbed you. Pick the bottom answer ‘That’s right’ and he will give you back your money.
Now move quickly to the next car as time is still ticking. Nothing in this car to slow you down so just run on through to the last one. You can now breathe a sigh of relief because you are no longer being timed. By the way if you were sharp enough you would have spotted Johnny in the carriage where you were robbed. Did you? Don’t worry if you didn’t though because he serves no real purpose in the game. You will see some shady looking people at the opposite end of the carriage you are in.
Run up and talk to Tifa who is with them. The people are Biggs, Wedge and Jessie in disguise. When Tifa runs to the door and opens it go and talk to her again. In the next scene you will jump off of the train.
When you regain control of Cloud you will be on the train tacks with Barret and Tifa. You now have two options, you can run upwards away from the screen and keep going untill you reach a laser grid of sorts blocking the path. This is the way to go, on the ground beside the laser grid and roughly at ground is a service shaft or something like that with a ladder. When you ‘talk’ to this you have a few options. Pick the one to go down obviously.
Your other option that I mentioned above is to run the other way when you start off on the tracks. This will bring you to an area where two guards are blocking a door. You will be warned that if you go any closer they might attack you but that’s the point. This place is useful for gaining some experience points or simply racking up some kills to get you closer to earning some new Limit Breaks. If you continue towards the guards after the warning they will attack you. After the fight you will have to option to ‘run’ or ‘stay‘. If you pick ‘run’ you will be back on the last screen you were on, If you pick ‘stay’ more guards will come and fight you. You can repeat this process to have as many fights as you want here. I always use this spot to go up a few levels before heading on. When you have finished here do as I said above, run to the top of the tunnel to the laser grid and go down the ladder.

When you go down this ladder there is a short tunnel and then another ladder, don’t forget to pick up the Ether on the ground. In the area you are now in there is two ways to leave, well three if you count the way you just came, both other ways are by ladder too and both will bring you to the same place so it is just easier to go the first way. When you crawl out from the little gap there is a half hidden Potion on the ground beside you. Pick it up and be on your way to the next area unless you want to talk to Jessie. Go towards the bottom left of the screen to leave via yet another ladder. In this small area there is a save point and a tent. Pick up the tent as these come in very handy. Save your game here. (when I tell you to save your game you do not have to, it is merely my suggestion, don’t listen if you don’t want to, its entirely up to you) if you talk to Biggs he will run off to go back to AVALANCHE HQ to wait for your return.

Section 1, D: The Second Reactor
Go up the small ladder beside where Biggs was standing. You will now be standing on a platform, run forward to go down a large slide. Now run on in the direction that the stairs overhead goes until you reach where the stairs finishes and there is a door there. This area should look familiar as it is the same as the other reactor you were in earlier only this time you entered a different way. Go through the door and continue downwards as you did in the last reactor: Jump across the gap, go down the slanted ladder and then down the slope, go down the ladder at the end of the slope, across the pipe that your are now standing on to the final ladder, go down this one to the save point. No need to save just yet so just keep going across the walkway to where you must plant the bomb as you did earlier. As you approach the spot you will see a cut-scene of Tifas past. Now run forward and plant the bomb.

This time no alarm goes off and you are free to escape, for now. Start retracing you steps until you get back to the bottom of the stairs: Back across the walkway, past the save point (still no need to save), up the ladder here and across the pipe to the next ladder, at the top of this one go up the slope and then up the slanted ladder and Jump across the gap. Now that you are at the bottom of the stairs you will now need to escape this way as you entered this area via a slide so. Go to the top of the stairs and into the elevator, push the button. When the elevator stops exit and you will see a chest on the ground near you. There is an Ether inside so take it. Now, the door to the exit is closed and the only way for it to be released is the little side room here so go in there. Cloud and the others will automatically walk towards the centre of the room where there is a console that has three buttons on top. For the door to be released these buttons need to be pressed simultaneously. Tifa and Barret will press it at the same time so you only need to worry about yourself. After the last message disappears off the screen wait just about two second and press action. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get it first time as you can try it as many time as you want. Once you get the door open and save at the save point as another Boss battle is waiting for you outside.

When you go out you will be confronted by president Shinra who will have a little chat with you and tell you about his plans to have you killed in the explosion of the reactor. Just before he exits by helicopter a ’Techno Soldier’ named ’Airbuster’ will appear and this it what you are going to be fighting. In this fight you will have Tifa and Barret on one side of the robot and Cloud on the other. Tips for fighting:

Airbuster : HP = 1500

1. Ice and Bolt magic are effective
2. Have full health and magic going into the fight and make sure someone is equipped with Restore materia (not Cloud)
3. If possible have your Limit gauges full before the fight
4. Have one of your characters (the one with restore materia concentrate on just healing if necessary while the others fight

If you have your Limits charged before the fight it will make this battle very easy. When I used Clouds Blade Beam it only took another four normal Attacks and I did not need to even heal the characters because the fight was so short. I always find that this fight is even easier than the first one and keep in mind that you just saved before the fight so you can always try again. Your reward for this fight is a Titan Bangle.

After the fight Airbuster will explode and take a chunk of the bridge with him. Cloud hangs on but Barret and Tifa are forced to leave him there, Which ever choice you pick when Barret talks to you doesn’t matter. As the reactor explodes Cloud will fall from the walkway to the Slums below.

Section 1, E: Aeries and the Sector Five Slums
When you wake up you will be lying in a flower bed in a church with the flower girl from before (Aeries) standing beside you. Talk to her when you get the chance and what you say here does not matter either so I will not list them. After she explains about her useless materia (relevant later) more options which do not matter appear. Talk to her again the next time you have control and you will get to name her. Now a man will come in and stand at the back of the church. This is Reno a member of the Turks. When Aeries stops talking walk a bit towards Reno and this will prompt Aeries to talk, now go back and talk to her again. Reno will make his presence known here and after some talking Cloud and Aeries will run into the back section of the church. Run to the right and Cloud will jump the gap over to the stairs. Go up these keep travelling along here and when the soldiers start shooting Aeries will fall to the bottom level. There is now two ways to do this next section.
1. Fight them as Aeries; To do this just select fight them when the option comes up.
2. Use Cloud to push the barrels onto the soldier that is near to her whenever she calls for help.
You could just keep telling her to ‘Run’ but she will eventually get surrounded.

1. This may well be the best option as Aeries will gain vital experience which is useful because she is such a weak character. If this isn’t to your taste however you can use option two, or even a combination of both.
2. The barrels are up the stairs to your left. Simply wait until Aeries calls for help end push over the barrel above the nearby soldier. The first barrel is the one in the back left. Next it’s the one straight down from this and the last barrel is the one to the right of the one you just pushed.

I always make her fight the soldiers herself but it is up to you. When finally gets all the way back up to the top, run along the rafters with Aeries and out through the gap in the roof to escape the church. All you will have to do once you have control again is to keep running left to flee across the rooftops. Your task once off the roof is to escort Aeries home, you are her bodyguard after all. You are now in the sector five slums. Aeries lives close by so don’t worry. Head left and save at the save point. It is quite likely you will get poisoned in the battles around here but you should have a few Antidotes by now from other battles. Continue onto the next screen. There are two ways to leave here but for now one is blocked so take the other (the one heading north) You are now in a group of run down buildings. The first building (the one you start off beside) is unimportant. The only thing in there is a sick man and there is nothing else for you to do, the only thing worth doing is noting something Aeries says about a tattoo. Time to move on. Head right and the next building you encounter. It is a materia shop that stocks:
Materia Price (gil)
Fire 600
Ice 600
Lightning 600
Restore 750
By the way if you have not done so already you should equip the Titan Bangle on Cloud and his old iron one on Aeries. Exit this shop and keep going right and enter the next building. It is an item shop. Item Price (gil)
Potion 50
Phoenix Down 300
Antidote 80
Tent 500
Get a couple of Antidotes if you’ve run out. The next building is on the right again but this time it’s a house. Go into the bedroom (the only room in there besides the one you start off in. There are two yellow looking posters on the wall beside where you are now standing. Examine them and it will say ’Turtles Paradise No.1’ This is the first in a series of six and you will be rewarded later if you find them all. This walkthrough will tell you where they all are. Now to the boy on the bed. He will mention a secret drawer. Now examine the little chest of drawers beside the entrance to the room and select ’open the hidden drawer between the top and bottom one’. There is a whopping five gil inside, you can take it if you want but seeing as hoe it won’t make a diff to you really I suggest leaving it and coming back later when there will be a good item there. Note: it will not be there if you take the 5 gil. Remember this spot for later and exit the house. Head North and go into the trailer up here. It is the weapons shop:
Weapon Price (gil)
Titan Bangle 280
Grenade 80
Buy a Titan Bangle if you think you need to give aeries some extra protection. I suggest saving your money until you get to Wall Market (the next place you visit after Aeries’ house)

When you are finished exploring this area and talking to the people etc leave to go to Aeries house by the exit to the right of the weapon shop. Before going inside however run right and into the flower gardens. Here you can pick up a Cover materia and an Ether. Now go back to the front of her house and go inside without saving. Talk to Elmyra (Aeries’ mum) when you get the chance and she will give you instructions to leave during the night. Now go upstairs and Cloud will automatically go to bed. When you get out of bed be sure to pick up the Potion and the Phoenix Down at the foot of the bed by the door. Your mission here is to sneak past Aeries room and leave the house to get to Tifas bar. This is easy, All you have to do is walk across to the stairs and then down them, be sure not to run or you will be ordered back to bed. Once outside save at the save point in front of you and head back through the little village picking up any supplies you are short on. Don’t spend too much money though. Save what you can until the next area. You can also fight a few monsters to bulk up your savings. Go to the screen where the two men were blocking the way. They are gone now but someone else is there, Aeries. Once she joins your party proceed to the next area.

Section 1, F: Wall Market and Cross Dressing
This area is the path between sector six and seven. Some of the enemies here can do a nice bit of damage if you are still at a low level so keep your health up. This isn’t a long walk however and you will not have to fight many battles.
On the other side you will be in a playground with Aeries. Follow her to the middle of the playground and talk to her. During the conversation a carriage pulled a chocobo will pass with Tifa on the back. You now must save her. When you have control again run after Aeries and then on the next screen take the only other exit. You are now in Wall Market. The first building beside you is an Inn. Do not go in yet however as you will need to soon anyway and there are no fights between now and then. Go into the nearby building that has ’Item’ written above the door. There is nothing in here except a computer on the wall on the opposite side of the room which is broken, try it and see. Note this building however as you will return here later to get Tifas final weapon. Continuing northwards the next building (the one with the stuffed Moogle outside the door) is an Item shop:
Item Price (gil)
Potion 50
Phoenix Down 300
Antidote 80
Echo Screen 100
Eye Drop 50
Hyper 100
Tranquilliser 100
Hi-Potion 300
Tent 500
Buy around five Hypers here. Hypers when used on your characters cause a status change called Fury. Fury makes your Limit Gauge charge twice as fast as normal. NOTE: When you stay at an Inn or sleep somewhere or use a tent all status changes are cured, even the good ones like Fury. You may also want some Potions if you are running low but they are not essential to be honest, Restore magic is much more effective.
Now exit this shop and continue north. There is a save point and a Restaurant (the building with the man in the blue hat outside) As of yet you don’t need to save and don’t go into the restaurant yet. The only other two buildings on this screen are a dress shop (the big one on the left) and a shop in the top right corner (not exactly sure what this shop is supposed to be) You do not need to go into these two yet either.
Before continuing up to he next area go down to the bottom right of this one where the fat man is pacing up and down. Go to the right here and you will find yourself in front of a seedy building. The Bumble Bee Inn. The red haired man standing near you is Johnny again. Talk to the Fat man near the door and ask about Tifa. Now go back to the last area and exit at the top beside the dress shop. The first building is the gym. Don’t go in yet but continue in past it and on the right there will be a Weapon shop (You really can’t miss it) it’s the big one with the neon ‘Gun’ sign. Go in here.
Weapon Price (gil)
Mythril Rod 370
Metal Knuckle 320
Assault Gun 350
Titan Bangle 280
Mythril Armlet

I suggest buying the Metal Knuckle for Tifa and three Mythril Armlets. One for Cloud, one for Tifa and one for Barret, when they return that is. Aeries can have Clouds old Titan Bangle. If you have the money you may want to buy the rod for aeries. I don’t because I don’t like her and think the money can be better spent.
Go back outside now and continue north. The big building opposite the weapon shop is a bar but this is another place you shouldn’t go yet. Go through the gate at the top and talk to the man you find there, here Aeries hatches a cruel plan for Cloud You must dress up as a woman to get into Don mansion. In this walkthrough I will tell you how to get all the best Items so Don will pick you as his favourite and you will get a chance to be alone with him to get revenge on him for taking Tifa. The first thing you should do is head to the dress shop and talk to the girl behind the counter who will tell you about her Dad who is in the bar. Now head up to the bar (near the gym and weapon shop) and talk to the old man closest to you when you go in the door. When prompted select ’That feels soft’ and then ’That shimmers‘. Once you are finished talking to him talk to the person getting sick in the bathroom in the top left of the bar.

Now to the restaurant (the building with the nearby save point and the man in the blue hat) Go inside and sit at the only free chair at the counter. When asked what you would like to eat pick whatever you want and afterwards when asked how the meal was pick ‘It was alright’. You now get a pharmacy ‘coupon‘. the pharmacy is the Item shop that has the stuffed Moogle outside. Go in here and talk to the man behind the counter who acknowledges you have a coupon and offers you a choice of medicines, pick ‘Digestive’. Now with your Digestive go back to the bar and give it to the sick person by talking to them. They will now give you ‘Sexy cologne’ for your troubles.

The next place you should go is the little shop across from the dress shop. Talk to the man in here select ‘What is it’ then select ‘I’ll go’. Go down to the Inn and stay the night by talking to the woman at the desk. When you are buying the item from the vending machine during the night buy the most expensive one (200 gil). Inn the morning go back to the man who asked you to go to the Inn for him and give him what you bought. He will give you a Diamond Tiara for your help. Now go to the dress shop and talk to the old man you spoke to in the bar earlier. He will give you a silk dress and inform you that you can get a wig at the gym. You should save your game and then go up to the gym.

Talk to the girl (I use that term lightly) standing near the ring. You will now face one of the gym goers in a squatting match. Despite how it may seem at first it is actually quite easy just stay relaxed and keep a rhythm with the combo buttons, square then x then circle. Don’t press them too fast as Cloud needs time to do each bit. You can practice when given the option and if you saved like I said you can always try again. After winning this you will get the blonde wig. If you lose you will get the brown one, its up to you if this is good enough but you should only settle for it if you cannot get blonde and have tried a few times. If you can’t do it the conventional way maybe you should tape the controller to your ass and bounce up and down on it singing your National Anthem. It shouldn’t go that far though.

Only one thing left to do now, head to the bottom right of Wall Market where the fat man was pacing up and down. Talk to him to receive a members card. Now proceed to enter The Bumble Bee Inn to your right. Aeries is left outside but that does not matter. You are now in a room that has five doors leading off it. Go into the top one and ask the girls to put make up on you. Try Enter the room to the right of this one now and pick ‘Take a peek’. If you look as far right as you are allowed you will see a stuffed Mog, with a small black cat like creature on its back, jumping up and down. This is someone you will get to know a lot better later. Next ‘Take a peek’ in the room below this one to see President Shinra taking part in a very strange hobby of his. Now to finish up before heading to Don Corneo go into either of the two rooms opposite and take part in the goings on to receive either ‘Sexy Lingerie’ or ‘Bikini Briefs’. Both are fine.

Go to the dress shop and put on your clothes by talking to the old man. Now you should save your game as there will be a boss fight soon. When you feel ready go to the mansion and the man at the door will now let you in. After the woman at the desk leaves to inform Corneo that you have arrived head up the stairs to your right and continue around to the open door and go in. You will find yourself on the top of a large set of stairs. Go down them to find Tifa in the sort of dungeon at the bottom. Run towards her. After a conversation between you Tifa and Aeries (when the conversation stops and you have control of Cloud talk to Tifa to make the conversation continue) be sure to pick up the Ether on the left.

Section 1, G: Don Corneo and the Train Graveyard
Now you must go meet Corneo himself so go up the stairs when called by the receptionist. Now to into the room with the big doors (the one closest to where you just came out) Once inside go towards the side (either side) of the desk. Now Corneo will pick the one he wants to be his companion. If you have gotten all the items I explained about he will pick Cloud.

Now you will follow Corneo to his room and Tifa and Aeries will go to the guards room. If you did not collect all the Items in Wall Market one of the other two will be picked. In this scenario you will go to the guards room and have to fight your way out. At least you’ll get some experience out of it. In the Dons room, when you get control of Cloud run around to the top of the bed and press action. There is a hyper hidden here. Now talk to Corneo and you can say what you want to him.

After Aeries and Tifa arrive you will find out about Shinras evil plot to destroy sector seven. When Tifa and Aeries pause and the end of the bed before you leave run to them. Corneo will now ask you a question. It doesn’t matter what your answer is the same fate awaits you at his hands. He will pull a secret lever and the three will plummet down after the trap door opens. You will now see a scene from president Shinras office.

After the Shinra scene you will be back with your characters who have just landed in the sewers. When Cloud wakes up and the other two are lying on the ground use this time to make sure you are properly equipped as a Boss fight beckons. When ready talk to them to wake them up. It does not matter which order you do this. Now your fight begins against Don Corneos pet ‘Aps’.

Aps : Hp = 1800

1. One of his Attacks, ‘Lick’, causes sadness which will make your Limit gauge charge twice as slow. If you are in ’Fury’ this Attack will effectively cancel this and just leave you normal. Use a Hyper to cure Sadness.
2. Anytime I’ve fought him (a lot) he has always concentrated on Aeries and left the rest alone. This can be to your advantage.
3. His other main Attack ‘Sewer Tsunami’ isn’t as bad as it looks as it does damage to him too. How much depends on which direction he makes it come from.
4. Limits come often if he uses Sewer Tsunami a lot.
5. Use these Limits and use Aeries to heal (that’s all she’s ever good for)
6. Fire magic is good

After the fight use your Hypers (if you have any left) to put Fury back on your characters and heal them if they need it. Now head up the little set of steps to the south to get the Potion you can see on your left. If for some reason you didn’t do it before the fight equip Tifa with Materia and the new weapons and armour you have for her.

Now go up the small ladder beside where Aeries was lying. Follow the path around and go down the next little ladder, up the steps on the opposite side and then along this (pick up the steal materia right in front of you, can’t miss it) and go down the hole at the end of the path. Run south in this next area and go down a little set of steps like before. Run up to the top now to where you can go up the slope to get onto the other side. Just run to the ladder now to escape the sewers.

You are now in the Train Graveyard. Save your game at the save point right beside you. Now go into the train through the open door closest to you and run up along the carriage until you get to the next open door. Go out and examine the barrel here to get a Hi-Potion, head back to where the save point is and climb the slanted ladder to get onto the top of the trains.

Firstly pick up the Hi-Potion in front of you and then continue along the tops of the trains until on the metal girder lying across the trains. Once on this go left to get back onto the ground. Go north and examine the barrel to get an echo-screen.

Run right and down and enter the next train where you can see the potion and pick it up. Go south inside this carriage to find the exit, its on the opposite side to where you entered it.

Now climb up on the next train (to the right) using the slanted ladder, run north (up) and climb down. Continue upwards and enter and enter the train on the right, keep going up.

Exit the train at the top on the left hand side of the carriage, pick up the Potion in front of you and continue up to the next area. Go to the area on the other side of the carriage on the left and pick up another Potion, now to the area on the other side of the carriage (again to the left) and examine the barrel to get an Ether.

Now you can go back to where you first entered this area and to the north you will see a Train cab on the tracks that looks slightly different (colour wise) to the other ones you’ve seen.

Run over to its door and Cloud will jump in automatically and move it along the tracks a small bit. When you get out run around to the other side and you will see another similar cab.

Get in and move this one too. Once out climb the slanted ladder between the two cabs you just moved. Pick up the Hi-Potion in front of you and jump across to the roof of the last cab you drove. Now keep running left along the roofs until you get to yet another slanted ladder, climb down it and exit this area to the left..

Section 1, H: Sector Seven Pillar and Aeries’ Mum
You are now at the Sector 7 station and you had better hurry to stop the plate from falling. Run towards where Tifas bar is and in the next screen, before you get there you will see a scene, at the foot of the pillar, and Wedge will fall from above and land near you. Talk to the man in the red waistcoat as he happens to be a general store (for want of a better expression)
Item Price (gil)
Potion 50
Phoenix down 300
Antidote 80
Grenade 80
Hyper 100
Tranquilliser 100
Tent 500

Once you have bought your supplies (a couple of Hypers at least) go up through the gap in the fence and save your game. Go up the stairs at the side of the save point to go help Barret.
Biggs is lying on the railing in front of you, he is wounded but you can’t help him so continue on up the stairs. During the random battles you will have on the way up the stairs it is quite likely that you will fill your Limit gauges.
If you can, keep them for the fight at the top by just using magic and/or items. When you talk to any of the members of AVALANCHE on the way up it does not matter what options you pick to say.
When you get to the top make sure your fully healed and then talk to Barret, when you do this you will get a chance to make sure your party is equipped, I suggest you do this.
After Reno (the guy from the church) lands and arms the bomb the fight will start.

Reno : HP = 1000

1. Firstly use the Limits you got on your way up the stairs. This will make the fight a lot easier and faster.
2. It is not a hard fight as he does not have a strong Attack.
3. If he uses ‘ Pyramid’ just attack it either with magic or just a normal attack and your character will be freed.
4. Keep your health topped up.

After the fight talk to Tifa and then after the pillar starts to blow up just wait for Barret find you a means to escape, via a crane wire. Now a fmv and then a conversation will follow. After this you will be on the path between sector six and seven, your destination is Aeries’ mothers house.

Start out to go there and before you have gotten very far Tifa and Barret will catch up with you and rejoin your party. Now continue on. You should know the way but in case you were blindfolded when going to the house earlier just go along the path you are now on until you get to the next screen. Take the closest exit to the one you just came out of and you will be in a little village of sorts (you were here before).

Go through this village, visit the shops if you need to, and exit on the other side. You are now standing in front of her house. Do not save yet. Go inside and there will be a long conversation. When you have control of Cloud again attempt to leave the house and you will be re-joined by Barret.

Section 1, I: Wall Market Re-Visited and the Big Climb
After another short conversation outside save you game and head for Wall Market. If you can’t remember where Wall Market is then just go to the playground you were in after the plate fell on sector seven. Once back at the playground pick up the ‘sense’ materia lying on the ground in the bottom right. Hard to miss actually seeing as how its yellow.

You should have no problems in making it to Wall Market. When you get there save at the save point near the restaurant (the building with the man in the blue hat outside) and head on up to the weapon shop in the next screen, it’s the one with the neon sign. Talk to the man that is fixing the tank in here and buy the batteries from him.

Exit and head north, you will see some children who will run off to the right. Follow them to the next screen where there will be a wire leading up to the plate above but there is a little girl standing in the way. Talk to her and she will get out of the way so examine the wire now to start climbing it. When you reach the area where you can walk again run up along the bit you are standing on and then to the right, this path will circle around across the one you were just on.

When you get to the yellow thing (it’s a socket) examine it and put in one of your batteries. Now continue upwards and across the propeller you just moved. Keep going up and you will be on some tracks when your path up is blocked.
Go left along these tracks and Cloud will jump down automatically and go left again and Cloud will climb up the other side. Put a battery into the socket here and the barrier will point upwards allowing you to run up along it so do and then climb the wire in front of you.

Cloud will then give you your next task, you must jump down onto the swinging bar to get across to the other side. Just press action when the bar is halfway between pointing straight and the top of its swing on the side you are standing. If you fail to grab the bar you can just climb up and try again so don’t worry about it.

When you are on the other side you can continue upwards and climb the pipe to the next screen. Keep climbing and then walking up (still on the same pipe until just after you are walking again when you must go left on a smaller pipe) Climb up along this one then when you need to.

Once you are finished climbing and are walking again you have two choices: 1. Continue on up or 2. Climb down the other side of the pipe you were on to get an ether.
If you climb down you will be faced with another socket so I’m sure you know what to do by now, put in your battery and you will get the Ether, after getting the Ether you will need to climb down onto the last screen and then go across the swinging bar and back up again.

Once back to where you climbed down or simply if you decided an Ether wasn’t worth the hassle just continue on up. Run up to the next horizontal (sideways) bar. Go right along this one and down the slanted pipe, you are now on the last section, just run up to the next screen.

Section 1, J: Shinra Building (until Level 64)
You are now outside the Shinra building with a save point beside you. When confronted with the options ‘Lets Bust on in’ or ‘lets sneak in quietly’ I suggest picking lets bust on in. The sneaking way is as boring as hell and you will miss out on some items, Exp and Turtles Paradise newsletter.

1. If you pick ‘Lets sneak in quietly’ then save your game and go to the next screen on the left. Now go to the end of the hallway and through the door on the right. You now have a mere 117 flights of stairs to climb (yes I’ve counted) Don’t forget to pick up the Elixir on level 64. Don’t worry you don’t need to count unless you don’t plan on looking at the screen. Exit through the door at the top. You are now in the same spot you would have been if you had ‘busted in’ and busting in is so much more entertaining.

2. If you pick to bust in. save your game and go through the door right in front of you. Just inside the door you will be confronted by some guards. They are not strong however and pose no threat. You will encounter random battles in this building so be prepared. There is a scared group of people on this floor to chase around for your amusement, no point in it though. The first thing you should do on this floor is head to the furthest corner to where you started and examine the notice board there. There are two things on it so make sure you check the Turtles Paradise News no.2. Now go up either one of the two sets of stairs, they both lead to the same place. In the top corner of this next floor is a set of doors with a greenish glow about them. This is an item shop so go inside to prepare for the battles ahead. You need to talk to her (the woman at the counter) and at first she won’t sell you items but Barret convinces her.
Items Price (gil)
Potion 50
Phoenix Down 300
Antidote 80
Eye Drop 50
Tent 500

The people looking at the screen in the corner will leave during your conversation with the woman at the counter. Examine this screen to see Shinras range of vehicles. Once you have your supplies head out of this room and go into either one of the two elevators (there is nothing up the next flight of stairs) inside the elevator press the button in the top of the screen and the elevator will proceed to floor 59 making a few stops along the way. These stops occur when you get Cloud to press the button again so you will have a breather between each stop. At the stops you will have a battle and as the floor level increases the battles will get harder but just take time between each one to heal and you’ll be fine.

You are now on level 59 no matter which option you picked. Run towards the elevators on the right of this floor and dispose of the guards. After this fight you will get ‘Keycard 60’. Talk to both Barret and Tifa when you can and then you will exit the elevator. Move from in front of the elevators and you will see a line of yellow statues with two men standing in the gap in the middle. They will not Attack you but they will not let you past either. Go into the room on the left. There is nothing to be picked up this room so just head for the other door and the task at hand will be explained. You must leave Barret and Tifa here while you sneak past the moving guards using the statues as cover and then guide Barret and Tifa across. Here are my tips.
1. Only attempt to move one statue at the time, more than this will increase the risk of being seen.
2. If you are un-sure whether to move or not wait until you are.
3. Don’t rush for the sake of a saved second or two.
4. Watch the guards to figure out their routine and when the best time to move is.
5. When signalling to the others use the same tactics you did with Cloud
6. The second set of guards are slightly harder because they move a little bit faster but they are basically the same as the first ones.
Once through the door on the other side go up the stairs to level 61. Now there is no point in going up the next set of stairs as you do not have the Keycard 62 so just go out the door beside you into a foyer with tables and chairs etc. There are two men in grey suits walking around here. When you talk to one of them you will have a choice of things to say, pick ‘………’. He will give you the Keycard 62. Now you can head up the next set of stairs or use the elevator if you wish.
This level houses the mayors (the mayor is mayor on title only) Office. To progress to the next level you need to get the Keycard 65 from the mayor. To do this you need to answer his question. He is in the leftmost room. You can do this simply by guessing if you wish but in order to get the Elemental materia you must get it right first time. The answer is random so I can’t just give it to you but read on to find out how to do it.
The man outside the mayors door will sell you clues but save your money as I bought them for you:

-- 500gil On this floor there are four different Shinra research libraries. Parts of the password are in each one. Pay careful attention to the files in each room. The name of the library in written on the plaque outside the door.

-- 1000gil In each library there will be one file mixed in from another library. Look carefully at the numbers on each file.

-- 2000gil There is a number at the beginning of each file name. Of course there is a numbers even on the files that don’t belong in that library. Match the numbers with the letters in the title of the file. If the file starts with a 4 then check the fourth letter and…….. well you get the idea.

Once you find all the odd files and have the letters just re-arrange them to make one of the words that the mayor gives as an option. Now you must go into each library and find the book that shouldn’t be there. These books are not the same every time so you’ll have to find them for yourself. In case you still don’t get what you have to do here are a few examples. If the book was:

10 New plans for Urban planning Then the letter is ‘o’

16 Modern History of Midgar Space programme vol.1 Then the letter you need is ‘m’

It is quite easy because all you have to do is find the four out of place books and get one letter from the title. This letter is defined by the number in the title of the book. If you get it on your first guess (you should) you will get the Elemental materia which I suggest linking with Lightning for now. You will also get the Keycard 65. When you are ready move up to the next floor, by stairs or elevator the choice is yours.

Section 1, K: Shinra Building (until captured)
I do not have a name for this floor but there are no people here and there are a few Items to get if you can be bothered. First of all head to the room in the bottom right of and examine the console in there. You will be told you can only open three doors. Now exit this little room and open the door right beside (to the left) of the room you were just in, there is a second door directly behind the one you just opened so open this one too. You will now be at a junction and are only allowed to open one more door. There is a room with a white bag in the centre (top left of your current position) Open the door to it and go pick up the bag which turns out to be ‘Coupon B’. Now look to the top of the room and you will see the entrance to an air vent. Go up to it and climb inside. When you are inside travel downwards (the only way you can go) and then left. Keep along this route until you climb down into another room. Pick up the bag in the centre of this room and it is Coupon ‘A’. Congratulations you have just gotten the best two items on this floor and you did it all by yourself. Now climb back into the vent and keep going past the turn off you came from and you will appear in the room with the Console. Activate it to cash in your coupons.
 Coupon ‘B’ = Four Slots
Coupon ‘A’ = Star Pendant
Although the Four Slots has, well, four slots (for materia in case you somehow didn’t know) it does not provide that much defence so only equip it if you have someone who you want to have lots of magic because their normal attack is so damn crap, not naming any names {cough} Aeries {cough}. On the other hand the Star Pendant is fairly handy as it protects the wearer from being poisoned. Now to the next level.

This level I would refer to as being recreational. It has a large gym in the centre, go here first. In the top left corner are some vending machines. Go to them and examine them, when prompted pay your 250gil. The machine is broken and will not give you what you paid for but don’t worry, when you return here much later in the game you will get some valuable items from the machine if you pay now.
Next go to the locker room above the gym. Check the locker directly in front of you to get a Phoenix Down. In the same position in the next row of lockers is an Ether and on the left hand side in the top row is a megaphone but you cannot take this until much later in the game. It is Cait Siths final weapon. Your final destination on this floor is the room on the left that has the beds and a larger than normal save point. Rest in the beds if you need to (will cancel Fury if your characters have it) and then save your game and continue onto the next floor.

This floor is supposedly a puzzle although in all honesty it is not difficult. The big room in the middle has a model of Midgar with some pieces missing, the pieces are scattered around the area in various boxes and you must collect them in the right order as a box containing, lets call it piece B, will not open until you insert piece A into the model and so on. The first open box is in the topmost room on the left. Insert the ’Midgar Pieces’ into the model to unlock the next box. The next one is in the room in the top right. Put the pieces in the model. Next its back to the first room you were in (the topmost one on the left). Insert pieces. Now go to the bottom left for the last set of parts. The gap left not filled in is the sector seven plate so there is no more to insert. The last box that opens is the one by the stairs. Inside you will find Keycard 66. I’m sure you know what to do by now. Head on up.

When you get onto the next floor (by stairs) if you look to the left of the screen you will see some Shinra executives in a big board room sitting down to have a meeting. These people are president Shinra, Palmer, Scarlet, Heidegger and Reeve. Your task on this floor is to find out what they are talking about in their meeting. Talking to some of the workers around this floor you will pick up some clues such as ‘Whispering in the toilets’. There is nothing to pick up so just head to the bathroom 9its in the top right corner) when your done talking. Once there go into one of the stalls and then walk towards the toilet. You will be presented with a list of options select ‘Climb up’. You are now in an air vent, crawl towards the screen to the grate to listen in on the meeting below. You will encounter Hojo for the first time in the following scene. After the meeting finishes go back down the vent and climb down into the bathroom. Don’t forget to flush. Now run back towards the stairs and you will see Hojo. When he leaves and goes up the stairs follow him, he will conveniently leave the door the next floor open behind him. Follow Hojo down the hall and keep going left. As you approach him a cut-scene will follow explaining what they are going to do with Aeries to keep her alive longer than an average human, or at least her D.N.A. After Hojo leaves and Cloud experiences one of his many ah, going craziness shall we call it, head up past the ‘specimen’ to the save point and a box. Take the poison materia (from the box in case you didn’t guess) and give it to someone with a free slot. Save your game and go into the elevator beside you.

When you reach the next floor exit the elevator and there will be another cut-scene, with Hojo, Aeries and the ‘specimen’. After this you will have to choose someone to take care of Aeries. It is up to you who you pick, keep in mind there is a boss fight in a second. This Boss fight is with ‘Sample HO512’ and there is three other little ‘samples’ in front of him to help protect him.

Sample HO512 : Level = 19 HP = 1000 MP = 120

1. If you kill the little ones in front ofthey will be revieved with a move called ’reanimagic’ so just concentrate on the big one
2. Fire and Ice magic are good
3. Use any Limits you have or get on the Big guy only
4. His ’shady breath’ move poisons so use you antidotes to cure any poisoned characters
5. Your eward for this fight will be a Talisman (Spirit=10)

Now you must break your party into two groups. When you regain control pick up the Enemy Skill materia behind you in the specimen elevator where Aeries and Red were. Nowave the area directly in front of the specimen elevator. When you have the full view of the room head to the bottom right of the room and up the little slope. Pick up the two Potions here and then talk to the man in grey to the north of your position. He will give you Keycard 68 and then run off. Go bown the slope you just came up and go in the direction the man in grey did. Don’t miss another two potions right in front of you now. Go throuogh the door beside the two potions and follow the corridoor to the stairs. Go down them as far as level 65 and go to the elevators on this level. When you go inside them you will be confronted by Rude and Tseng. Now you get to meet President Shinra again, this time in his office.

Section 1, L: Shinra Building (until Rufus)
After the conversation with him where you find out about Aeries being an Ancient you will find yourself waking up in a cell with Tifa and Aeries is in a separate cell to the left and to the right Red and Barret share another cell. Walk towards the door and you will get a list of who you can talk to. Talk to whoever you want and then pick the door option ‘Lets just get some sleep’.

When you wake up the door to your cell will be open. Go outside and examine the guard, then go talk to Tifa. When she runs out to look at the guard follow her and talk to her when she is at the guards body. You will get the cell key. Tifa will go to free Aeries so you must now run down to Barret and Reds cell. Open the door with Action, go inside and talk to one of them. Follow them when they leave. Then talk to Tifa and Aeries. Barret will stay behind, run down the corridoor and to the left where you saw Jenova and go to where Red is standing. Talk to him and then follow him to the elevator. Save you game and go into the elevator. On the next floor follow the blood trail on the ground to red. Continue on past him following the trail of blood which will lead you upstairs. On the next floor keep following the blood. You should save again when passing the save point and then keep on following that blood up to President Shinras office. A surprise awaits you there.

Barret and Red rejoin you as you look upon the body of President Shinra. He has been impaled on his very own desk by a long sword that could only belong to one. Sephiroth. When you have control of Cloud again Head outside to meet the new President (the door is north of where your standing) After the conversation which includes Rufus’ appointment speech Everyone except Cloud will leave the roof to escape the building. Then Tifa will decide to wait for Cloud so now you will have control of Barret, Aeries and Red. When given the option, choose to remove Cloud and Tifas materia. Now equip Barret, Aeries and Red however you wish. Make sure one of them has Restore materia (I usually give it to Aeries) Now go to the room in the bottom right of this floor and then into the adjoining room on the left. In this room are there elevators. Check once again if you are equipped as a double boss battle awaits in the elevator. When you are ready go inside. Your first attacker is ‘Hundred Gunner’

Hundred Gunner : HP = 1600
Heli Gunner : Hp = 1000

1. Lightning and Ice magic are effective
2. Limit breaks do the most damage
3. Use Aeries Limit to heal your party.
4. Aeries isn’t a great fighter so just use her to heal Barret and Red
5. Use Ethers to refill her Hp

After Hundred Gunner is dead (quite easy) another enemy will appear and you will have no time for a break. This time its ’Heli Gunner’. Use the exact same tactics you used on Hundred Gunner.
If Red happens to have no attack magic he can use items to attack as normal attacks will not be able to reach. Your reward for this battle is another Mythril Armlet. Equip it on whoever does not have one already.

Section 1, M: The Great Escape
Now you will be back as Cloud talking to Rufus. You will have a chance now to open the menu and equip Cloud with whatever weapons, items and materia you have. This is your only chance to prepare for the oncoming boss fight so ensure he has Restore materia. When your finished preparing there will only be a small bit more talking and then into the battle. Rufus is not alone.

Rufus : Level 21, Hp = 500 Dark Nation (Rufus’ pet) : Level 18, Hp = 140, MP = 80

1. Dark Nation casts Barrier and M-Barrier so kill him as quickly as possible, with any luck before he casts the protection spells on Rufus
2. Important to keep healed as you are by yourself
3. If Barrier has been cast on Rufus by Dark Nation before you killed him but not M-Barrier (usually happens me when I do this fight) then use attack magic.
4. Highly likely you will get to use quite a few Limits during this fight. They are effective even against Barrier
5. Easy fight if you get dark Nation out of the way although even if you don’t its still not what you’d call hard

Rufus turns tail and flees the fight before you get to kill him.
Your reward for this battle is a Protect Vest (vitality+10) and a Guard source, use on whoever you want.
Run back inside and down the stairs to meet up with Tifa where you left here when you were in control of the others. Save your game at the save point here as a mini-game and yet another boss fight are soon to follow.

Now you control Aeries just arriving in the elevator at the bottom floor. If you took the sneaky option earlier then you now have a chance to get the Turtles paradise News No.2. Run forward as if to go out the front door. You will find that the building is surrounded. Now Tifa arrives and a pretty sweet FMV follows (this came out in ‘97 remember so that makes the graphics so much better)

Use the option that appears to re-equip the characters in your party. I suggest linking the Elemental materia with fire materia in Clouds armour. This means he will take less damage from fire attacks.
Now you are in the mini-game. No major secrets about it though. Press square to swing your sword to the right and circle to swing it to the left. The easiest way is to use your speed to aim your attack, that is speed up and slow down according to the enemies rather than wait for them to pass. This is really easy though as th enemies take off very little damage with their attacks. The enemies come in two forms : Yellow Bikers and Red Bikers. The Red Bikers are the more powerful ones. If you find you are unable to hit them with your sword try ramming them instead. Although this can sometimes prove difficult. When you get to the end of the road your final fight in the city of Midgar takes place:

Motor ball : Level = 19 HP = 2600 MP = 120

1. Seeing as how he is mechanical Lightning is very effective
2. As usual Limit Breaks do the most damage and you will get quite a few of them
3. Have one concentrate on healing as this is probably your toughest enemy yet
4. His Flame Attacks do the most damage but as long as you keep your characters health above half, none of your characters should die.
5. If you listened to me about the linked fire and elemental magic in Clouds armour this will be a big help

Your reward for finishing this fight is another Star Pendant. After a short conversation you will leave Midgar, not forever but for a long time. Congratulations.

Section 2, A: The Next Town

Once out of Midgar (you are now on the world map) look to the west and you will see a small group of houses. This is actually a town and it also happens to be your next destination. The ground in the imidiate vicinity of Midgar is slightly blackened. On this area you can fight an enemy called ‘custom Sweeper’. You can learn Matra Magic from him when he uses it on your party and one of your characters has the Enemy Skill materia equipped. I suggest learning this here as it is quite a powerful attack and essential for my early Limits trick a little later on. When you have this move and you are ready head to Kalm (the little nearby town) Once there walk forwards and the others will go to the Inn to wait for you, now you get to explore. The first building on the left (besides the Inn) is a house. Examine the door under the stairs here to find an Ether. That’s it for this house so move next door. This one is also a house. Go upstairs to the bedroom and you will see a wardrobe beside the beds. Examine this to get another Ether. Now to the next building in this row and yes you’ve guessed it, it’s a house. In here, on the ground floor in the back of the house is a spiral staircase, go up to the top of this and open the bow there to get the ‘Peacemaker’. It is a weapon but as of yet you have no-one who can use it. That’s it for this row of houses.

The next place you should visit, once outside is up the stone steps beside the houses you were just in. it looks like there are two buildings here but there is actually only two as one of the buildings has two entrances. These are all shops. I’ll start with the leftmost. This is the one on its own and is the Item shop
Item Price
Potion 50
Pheonix Down 300
Antidote 80
Eye Drop 50
Hyper 100
Tranquilizer 100
Tent 500

In the next building (to the right of the item store) are two stores, the first of which is the Materia store
Materia Price
Earth 1500
Poison 1500
Steal 1200
Sense 1000
Heal 1500

I always recommend buying at least one of each of the materia you don’t have if your funds allow it. Beside the materia store is the weapon store.
Weapon Price
Mythril Saber 1000
CannonBall 950
Mythril Claw 750
Full Metal Claw 800
Mythril Armlet 350

If you are low on money but want new weapons you could always sell your old ones but personally I like to keep them all. Now that you’ve done your shopping the next building is the one in the archway at the bottom of the steps you came up a minute ago. There is nothing in the bar here however except a few people to talk to so when your ready there is one more place you should visit before heading to the Inn. Go into the building to the right of the bar and go upstairs into the bedroom. There is an old man here. Note this spot as it is quite important much later in the game. I will refer to him as the Kalm man. As you leave this house check the door under the stairs for yet another Ether. Now you can go to the inn when you are finished talking to everyone etc.

Section 2, B: Kalm Inn and the Flashback

When you go into the Inn (the leftmost building, it has Inn written above the door Duh) go upstairs to the others. Run towards them for the conversation to start. Its going to be a lllloooonnnngggg conversation all about Clouds past. You will get to play some of it though and there are some sweet videos. After the conversation between Cloud and the Legendary Sephiroth you will have your first piece of action. You get to fight alongside him. It does not make the slightest bit of difference what you do in tis fight however as it is really just to demonstrate Sephiroths power and you are not strong enough to do any real damage. It does not even matter if you die.

The next time you get to control Cloud you will be in front of Nibelheim with Sephiroth. Run past him as if to enter the town after the talking stops. The conversation will then continue and you will proceed into the town. Then Sephiroth will head to the inn for the night and you are free to explore.
The first building is beside the Inn (where Sephiroth went) and nothing proper to do in here although there is a strange scene if you go inside. The next house is to the right of the path heading north that is beside the last one you were in. do not go up the path yet, just go into the building on the right. This is Clouds house.
When you go in here you will have the option to see what happened when he went in or not. It’s up to you really.
The next building to the right is Tifa’s house. A few things to do in here alright. Firstly you will once again be given the option to tell about what happened or not. If you pick ‘Yeah’ you can go upstairs to her room and go inside where you will once again be given the option to continue or not. If you continue inside there is a few things you can do, you can read a letter on her desk and while reading it you will have to pick to continue reading or not. Now you can play the Piano and you will get a tune which you can use when you return here later:

Do, Re, Mi, Ti, Lah Do, Re, Mi, Ti, So, Fa, Do, Re, Do

There is one more thing you can do in here and that is take some of her underwear from the drawers in the top corner of the room. Its completely up to you. The next house has nothing to do in it except for a few people to talk to but go here if you want. When ready head back to the Inn. On the ground floor beside the counter is the man that trained Tifa in her fighting skills, his name is ‘Zangan’.

Go upstairs and talk to Sephiroth twice and the second time choose ‘Lets get some sleep’. In the morning when you find yourself standing in front of Sephiroth talk to him and then Tifa will arrive. You will now not get to control Cloud again until you are in front of a narrow bridge with Tifa. Talk to her and then follow her when she runs off across the bridge.

The bridge will collapse and you will awake at the bottom of a deep ravine. Once everyone is together run to the right until you get to a cave and then go inside. Once inside follow the path on the right (it is possible to enter in random battles here but they are nothing to worry about) to get to the next screen where there will be a scene involving the Mako Fountain. After the scene with the fountain you wil be in front of the Mako reactor so just go inside. Now walk along the bars you are standing on and climd down the chains after Sephiroth and continue following him across the walkway. Go through the door at the far side and go up the stairs in here to Sephiroth. Talk to him.

When he tells you to close the valve go to where he was standing when he said it and pree action, then talk to Sephiroth again and you will get a glimpse of what proffesor Hojo was creating. Now you will have the option to save your game and have a break or to continue on with the story. When you decide to continue again or if you decided not to take a break and just continue on you won’t be in the reactor anymore, you will be in the Shinra Mansion.

Head up the set of stairs in front of you (no point in exploring as you wil be back here later and as of yet there is nothing to do) When you get to the top of the stairs go to the right and into the room where you can see the Shinra soldier, go past him and examine the suspicious looking wall in the far corner. A spiral staircase will now be revealed so go down it. In the next area run towards the screen and then in the next one run to the right and into the library (it’s the only place you can go down here) There is now a scene with Sephiroth talking about why he’s there etc. When you regain control leave the room. When you wake up you will still be in the mansion. Exit your room and run right, across the landing and into the room with the secret staircase. Go down it as before and go into the Library again. Go down the hall to Sephiroth and the earlier conversation will continue. When he leaves follow him. Go back up the spiral staircase and out onto the main stairway head down them to where you were when you first entered the house and go out the front door.

The town is in flames. Run towards the centre of town and Zangan will enlist your help. When told, try to go into clouds house (the closest one to the right) Now for a stunning Fmv (this was made before ‘97 let’s not forget) Now you will find yourself in the reactor once again so run along the pipes and go down the chains like earlier. As you near the end of the walkway you will see Tifa and her father as you did earlier in the flashback in the Mako Reactor in Midgar.

When Tifa runs on follow her. After you see Sephiroth cast Tifa aside as if she were not even there pick her up by pressing action and Cloud will put her to one side automatically. Now follow Sephiroth up the stairs and through the door. This next scene cuts short as Cloud forgets what happened when he confronted Sephiroth. The options Barret presents you with do not matter so pick whatever you feel like. One of my favourite lines comes from Red as you leave the room. Once downstairs whatever two characters that were not in your party will be waiting for you and will give you the ‘PHS’. This enables you to switch the characters that are in your party anywhere on the world map or at a save point.
Exit the Inn now and if you talk to the man standing to the left he will tell you that he just saw Sephiroth.
 :blah:

Thats it for me. Hopw you liked it or whatever. Tell me what you think. emoticon

Limit Breaks:

Limit Breaks are special attacks that become available one the character fills his or her limit gauge. Each character has unique devastating Limit Breaks. A character can earn new Limits by fulfilling certain requirements.

How fast, and even if, the gauge fills depends on a number of factors and scenarios.
Every playable character has one and it fills a bit every time they take damage. The amount it fills depends on the strength of the attack, in other words an attack that takes 2000 health off your character will fill the gauge more than an attack that takes 1000 off.

The Speed that the gauge rises can be changed through two distinct status changes, Fury and Sadness. With your character in Fury the gauge will charge twice as fast but you will take slightly more damage (I think that its worth the bit extra damage) When in sadness it will charge twice as slow, this should be cured as soon as possible.

Also your gauge will not fill if your characters attack each other or themselves (when confused for example) If your character dies their gauge will empty and not start to refill until they are up and taking damage again (obviously)

Once the bar is filled you can unleash their Limit Break or save it until you need it by using magic, items, commands or summons. Once you use the Limit the gauge will start over and you can use your normal attack once again.

The characters Limit Breaks are shown in their Limit Levels.

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

Limit Levels:

These are what define character Limit Breaks. For the majority* of the characters you play as there are 4 Limit Levels and 2 Limit Breaks on their first 3 Levels but only one on Level 4 which is reserved for that characters ultimate Limit Break. As you acquire each character they already have their first Limit of their first level.

*The exceptions to this rule are Vincent Valentine and Cait Sith.
Vincent Valentine: Has just one Limit Break per Level.
Cait Sith: Has only two Limits, one on Level 1, and 1 on Level 2.

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

Character Limit Breaks:

Cloud Strife:

Limit Level 1:
Braver--Cloud runs at the enemy, jumps and does a single slash down. Attacks a single enemy. This can be seen briefly in Advent Children
Cross-Slash--Cloud slashes at the enemy three times. Attacks a single enemy once again.

Limit Level 2:
BladeBeam--Cloud sends a bolt of energy across the ground striking a single enemy and this bolt then disperses hitting any other nearby enemies. This can also be seen in Advent Children.
Climhazzard--Cloud rushes forward, drives his sword into the enemy and then jumps into the air while the sword is still in the enemy.
Attacks a single enemy.
Limit Level 3:
Meteorain--Cloud spins his blade around over his head leaps above the battle and releases a rain of meteors as the name suggests. Attacks all enemies.
Finishing Touch--Cloud creates a massive Tornado which blows away all the enemies on the field. This kind of attack does not work on bosses.
Limit Level 4:
Omni-Slash--Last but not least is omni-slash. Cloud runs forward and attacks all enemies on the field with a devastating attack scoring 15 hits in total. Even if you do not get this Limit Break during the course of the game you are granted its power at the very last moment in the very last battle. Enjoy.

Barret Wallace:

Limit Level 1:
Big Shot--Plain and simple. He charges up his whatever gun he has equipped and fires. Attacks a single enemy.

Mind Break--Barret once again charges up his gun but this time it attacks a singles enemies magic points instead of hit points.
Limit Level 2:
Grenade Bomb--This time he fires a grenade and this explodes causing damage to all enemies.
Hammer Blow--Another one of those attacks that won’t work on any or the bosses. This attack kills one enemy instantly.
Limit level 3:
Satellite Beam --In this attack Barret calls in a laser strike that hits all enemies. I like this one.
Anger max--This attack sees Barret fire around 20 shots at all the enemies.
Limit Level 4:
Catastrophe--Barret seemingly sucks Mako (or some form of energy) from the ground into his gun, leaps high in the air and releases it all over the enemy doing about 20 waves of damage again except this time a lot more powerful.
Tifa Lockheart:

Limit Level 1:
Beat Rush--Tifa runs forward and punches a single enemy three times.
Somersault--Tifa then does a back flip during which she kicks the enemy. Demonstrated in Advent Children.
Limit Level 2:
Water kick--Next Tifa does a round house kick of sorts and water comes rushing up through the ground to ah, shower the enemy??? That’ll teach him alright.
Meteodrive--After that Tifa grabs the enemy jumps up and slams him back to the ground. She uses this move in Advent children.
Limit Level 3:
Dolphinblow--A strange one this. She crouches in front of the enemy and performs a jumping uppercut. As she does this a Dolphin jumps out of the ground as it would the water and reinforces her punch. Told you it was strange.
Meteor Strike--Looks somewhat similar to Meteodrive but this time she doesn’t come back down with the enemy once in the air. Come to think of it it was this move she used in Advent Children not Meteodrive
Limit Level 4:
Final heaven--In her final attack (her only one that attacks all enemies at once) we see her create a giant energy blast which as I said, damages all enemies.

NOTE: Tifa has a Limit Break set-up different to all the other characters in the game. When you use it slot reels appear at the bottom of the screen, how many depending on how many you have acquired, for example if you use Dolphinblow she will also use Beat rush, Somersault, Water Kick, Meteodrive and then Dolphinblow
Thus making a total of 5 slot reels you will have to stop. When you stop the reels you will get one of three results Hit!, Miss and Yeah!!!

Miss : Attack will not work
Hit : Deals out average damage
Yeah!!! : Deals maximum damage

This method means that when (or if) you have Final Heaven it will make for a powerful Limit Break

Red XIII (Nanaki):

Limit Level 1:
Sled Fang--Another simple one. Red rushes apparently through the enemy and judging by the name he bites them on the way.
Lunatic High--Red casts haste on the whole party, well the ones fighting at the time. Comes in handy, but not essential during boss fights.
Limit Level 2:
Blood Fang--Charges an enemy and regains hit and magic points. How many points he regains depends on the enemies magic points, I think.
Stardust Ray--In this one Red Fires ten star shaped bits of, well, star dust at all enemies.
Limit Level 3:
Earth Rave--Here Red casts three powers on himself and just attacks enemies at random. The powers are Haste, Berserk and another which isn’t in the game as a separate magic.
Howling Moon--I’m sure you cam guess what happens here, Red Howls at a moon which appears out of no-where and then damages all enemies at once.
Limit Level 4:
Cosmo Memory--As I’m sure you’ve gathered by now Limit Level 4 is their final one but I’m not a big fan of this one. Its not very complicated and can only damage a max of 9999 while most others do numerous 9999’s worth of damage. In this one we just see him attacking all of the enemies (well pretty much)
Vincent Valentine:

Limit Level 1:
Galian Beast--Makes Vincent transform into a purple beast with long black horns. The attacks he uses as Galian Beast are Berserk Dance, hits a single enemy 4 or 5 times, and Beast Flare, he leaps into the air and fires a flare into the enemies damaging them all.
Limit Level 2:
Death Gigas--Vincent transforms into a creature that strangely reminds me of a certain (Its Alive!!!!) other creature in a film, complete with bolted temples. The two attacks this time are Giga Dunk, hit’s a single enemy 4-5 times as before, and LiveWire, damages all the opponents with a sort of electricity/fire based effect I’m not exactly sure.
Limit Level 3:
Hell Masker--This time he transforms into another horror movie favourite, a man in a hockey mask wielding a rusty chain-saw. Only one attack this time I’m afraid, no special name for it either, he just does 5 separate attacks on random enemies and with the physical attacks come a few status changes for them.
Limit Level 4:
Chaos--This is my favourite looking of the 4, Vincent this time transforms into a winged kind of devilly thing and has two attacks again. Chaos Saber, a fire blast on all enemies, and Satan Impact, also a fire based all enemy damaging attack.

NOTE: Once you activate Vincents Limit Break he will not revert to being a human untill after the fight, even if you revive him after he dies. This can be a disadvantage at times although saying that once you transform him he does get a boost on all stats including hit points.
Aeries Gainsborough:

Limit Level 1:
Healing wind--Creates a green aura that heals roughly half the hit points of the entire party and disappears after it does this.
Seal Evil--This spell stops an enemy in heir tracks, literally. It freezes them (as in stops them moving not as in ice) and renders terminable to attack or cast magic.
Limit Level 2:
Breath Of Earth--She cures all the status ailments of the party. That’s it.
Fury Brand--I really like this one, fills the Limit gauges of the other two characters, very helpful.
Limit Level 3:
Planet protector--Pretty straight forward, makes all party members temporarily invincible.
Pulse of life--Fully restores both hit and magic points to all fighters, even the deceased.
Limit Level 4:
Great Gospel--This one is like a combination of both Level 3 Limits. It makes party members invincible for the duration of the battle and restores their hit and magic points.

Cid Highwind:

Limit Level 1:
Boost Jump--Cid leaps into the air and slashes down on the enemy with his trusty spear.
Dynamite--Sort of like Barrets Grenade Bomb only so much cooler. Cid lights a stick of dynamite off his cigarette and throws it at the enemy damaging all.
Limit level 2:
Hyper jump--Its Boost Jump all over again except this time an explosion occurs when he hits the ground damaging all enemies.
Dragon--Cid gets a dragon to come from somewhere and attack a single enemy absorbing hit and magic points for Cid.
Limit level 3:
Dragon Dive--Six extra powerful Boost Jump moves ensue when you activate this one.
Big Brawl--Attacks random enemies for a total of 8 hits.
Limit level 4:
Highwind--Cid summons his pride and joy The Highwind to drop bombs on the enemy. 18 in all. Nice.

NOTE: I’d like to take this opportunity to mention that in Advent Children I didn’t see Cid with a cigarette once, not once. That’s a disgrace. Shame on you Square

Yuffie Kisaragi:

Limit Level 1:
Greased Lightning--Yuffie runs at the enemy and slashes once. Attacks one enemy.
Clear Tranquil--Heals parties hit points, nothing more nothing less.
Limit Level 2:
Landscaper--Damages all enemies with a ‘landscaping’ of an earthquake underneath them.
Bloodfest--Attacks all enemies randomly for a total of ten hits.
Limit Level 3:
Gauntlet--Yuffie hurls a bob that damages all enemies.
Doom Of The Living--Same as Bloodfest except this she attacks 15 times rather than the 8 previously
Limit Level 4:
All Creation--In her final limit Break she unloads a powerful beam/ray of energy at the enemies damaging all of them.

Cait Sith:

Limit level 1:
Dice--Dice a thrown (the number depends on what level he is) and the damage dealt is the numbers on the dice added together and multiplied by 100 e.g. 4+6= 10, 10*100=1000, Damage dealt =1000. Attacks one enemy.
Limit level 2:
Huge Mog--Cait Siths Mog grows in size and attacks the enemy with more power than normal.
Mog Dance--The name says it all. This Limit restores parties hit and magic points.
Lucky gal--increased Critical Hit chances.
Random Summon--Does what it says. Summons a random summon. Well, of the ones you have with you.
All over--Kills the enemy. Simple as that. Obviously enough it doesn’t work on bosses.
Joker--This one isn’t very nice at all. If you land on this on your entire party dies regardless of hit points, level or strength. It always seems to happen when you haven’t saved for a while.

NOTE: Cait Siths Level 2 Limit break is decided on a slot reel with six possible outcomes. They are listed above.

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

And now here are a few bios:

President Shinra:

The reason Avalanche was first started. A cruel man who cared more for money and Mako than people. It was through his actions that Cloud first met Aeries (when he fell off the walkway after blowing up the second reactor) He doesn’t seem to care about anybody even though he has a son. He is a weak man who needs to be on top to have others to do his work like SOLDIER and The Turks. He is cut out of the story very early when he is discovered in his office impaled on Sephiroths Murasame. Nothing official is known about his history.

Rufus:

The 21 year old son of president Shinra arrives by helicopter to take command of Shinra just after his father is murdered by Sephiroth. He wears a white trench coat, inside which he keeps his double barrelled shotgun, and is accompanied by his pet Dark Nation. His first act as president is to fight Cloud on top of the Shinra building and doesn’t hesitate to escape by helicopter once again when he realises Cloud is more of a match than he thought.

As head of Shinra he plans to find the Promised Land, like his father did before him, to harvest the precious Mako. Rufus is arrogant and sly and so sitting as the head of The Turks suits him perfectly. This base is in Junon which is also the home of the underwater Mako reactor and The Sister Ray. When Diamond Weapon surfaces near Midgar to protect the planet from the super-charged Sister Ray it gets destroyed by a blast from the ray but not before it lets off a volley of shots directed at Midgar. These shots hit the Shinra building Destroying the top section where Rufus was standing.
This makes it appear that he is dead but people that have seen Advent Children will know otherwise…

Scarlett:

The blonde Diva of the Shinra corporation. She happens to be the only female in the company itself (The Turks are excluded here). She commands a powerful position in the company, Head of Weaponry. It looked a lot like she fancied Tseng but she never properly admitted it. Her laugh is comparable to Heideggers in annoyingness (is that even a word) and she shows her mean streak when she almost Killed Tifa on live TV to keep the public happy.
She is not without brains however as we see her both naming and creating the Sister Ray, and also teaming up with Heidegger to attack Avalanche in the Proud Clod. After this battle with Avalanche the Proud Clod falls to its destruction and it is left unanswered whether the two die or live to annoy another generation of game players.

These are just the ones i have so far. Phew. Commence with the comments. :smirk:

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

OH they will!!

It would make it like a 'Step by step' guide,
Each post would be the next section as you scroll down the page . . . emoticon
Wadya think?

Sparky you may have noticed posts missing,
check the Announcments board for details if you aint already,
so im just Edit'n my post, playing about wid things!
.............................................................................................

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

Re: WALKTHROUGH.

5. Air-buster will be attacked from both sides, have a charactor attack whilst it faces away for more damage, ideal when using a Limit!

Re: WALKTHROUGH.
