Re: questions about this dissapointing game Oh right, I actually thought it was Square Enix who made FFX, but you are right it was SquareSoft, but still I won't blame either Enix or SquareSoft for the making of FFX-2, cause I am sure both companies were involved in the sequel.
And if I am not wrong FFXII is created by Square Enix and after what I have heared its going to be a great game. So it can't be all bad
I have to disagree with some personal opinion methods.
Since when has it been impossible for people to change? I think that Square deliberatly did this to prove that people do change, and that is what happens in the world.
Some of it did seem childish at times, but I remembered why I played it and that was soon gone.
It was kinda short, but the storyline itself is played in a way that things evening them selves out.
The Storyline was kind of a drag, but at times it was just so fun.
I like it where you can visit your old team mates and freinds you have encountered on your first journey.
Most of all knowing that it was a sequel to 10 motivated me paly as well as enjoy at the same time.
Overall I think it is a good game, but not as good as 10.
Preach on! i happen to like FFx-2, i dont understand why everyone is alwaying picking out every little detail they could find "bad" about the game. FF810 is right, people change, the towns in spria -did- change and it was basically the same because it -is- the same place. Im glad they did come out with FFx-2, it gave us a break from all the depressing storylines of every other final fantasy.

Yes its true people change, and its good that a game shows that. But Yuna changed a little too much, to the complete opposite almost. And the story was only about 20% of the game, everything else were sidequests and mini games if I remember right.
I know its the same world, but like the poster said. Besaid didn't change at all, it was exactly the same, right? After 2 or so years they'd have been happy to completey rebuild. The world would have changed a lot, not just Kilika.
(Didn't fully read this post, so this reply is late. And I deleted all the spam in here)
… At some point, Yuna actually says: "I don't like your plan. It sucks." That is as un-Yuna-ish as possible.
Yuna didn't change, they just made an entirely new character and named her Yuna. I don't think it's an overall bad game, it's just too girly and happy. It's simply too un-Final Fantasy-ish!
Re: questions about this dissapointing game i guess not having to die as a sacrafice for your world would allow you to change, beside this Is Her story.
Do you feel the game stereotyped woman. but all games stereotype GTA, sims, resident evil, mercenaries too name the ones that come off my head.
What I didn't like about X2 were 100% to see the good ending, the sidequest are boring and certain monster such as the blue spheres in the macalian woods which killed me several times after not saving for a couple hours can really frustrate you and make you really hate a game
almost as much as when my game froze when tyring to save Champion of Norrath Return to arms after I completed the the bomb toss and kept all three carts, for those of you who know this game
I am in chapter 4 and i know i will have to play the game again to get the mythical 100%. so i turned my aims at getting all the dresspheres
having a checklist really hinders what RPG are about, RPGS should be free roaming and not dictate what you should do the WHOLE DAMN GAME
but i did like the fact that they did try tell to Yuna's story, but in esscence if you look at the final fantasy series as a whole there best games Vii, and X all end in sadness Even the damn movie Final Fantasy: the spirits within Ended sad
I guess there are no happy endings in japanese media
Even spike died in cowboy BeeBop

I disagree. Final Fantasy 8 was almost a bad ending until they had to ruin it and put those two other endings in there. And FF X-2 was filled with happiness. Especially the 100 % completion ending.

… LOL..yes shiny its a dancing bunny...they have a dancing banana to...this game was REALLY bad...but sometimes i have urges to play it..iono i guess its weird
… This game was just so bad. If I wanted to change clothes on something I wouldn't do it on a game. I'd probably rather change a barbies clothes. EVERYTHING about this game sucks.
Re: questions about this dissapointing game It's the only one I can bothered playing at the moment...honestly.
Everytime I go to play 7 or 8, I'm just reminded that I've completed them several times before, and I go to 9 and it puts me off just opening the case.
But X-2 had a fresh start. I've only played it start to end once, so I'm playing through it again at the moment, and am seeing a bunch of things I've never noticed before. If you bother with it, it's actually and alright game. I'd say it's on par with 9 as far as story goes, but the gameplay DOES fail slightly.
I've also taken a liking to the music...God whats wrong with me?
