Click the button to make a reply, at the bottom of the box you will see "Get notifications when someone replies?".
Check the box if you want to an e-mail that will 'notify' you when someone replies to the topic.

I dislike it when it clutters the box, i had over 3000 emails on my yahoo account and had to abandon it becuase it got out of control
