Azure Dreams
One of the more rare RPG's, a PS1 game by Konami, the same dudes that did Suikoden and Vandal Hearts.
This game is based in a town where a big tower is. You have to go up the tower collecting items and monster eggs ( which you can hatch and take with you in the tower ). Its got an interesting town, with plenty of stuff to build and have fun with. The tower has a random generated dungeon ( better than Dark cloud series btw, just in 2D ) so it doesnt get boring.
Its one of those games that is either highly addictive, or complete terrible trash. Anyone played it ?
Btw: I have a gold sword + 20 and a diamond shield + 21, I never used Kewne, and got to floor 9 on my first visit to the tower in this game. My main familier is a Lv 27 pulumpa ( the horny slime ), and I've got to floor 30 with just my equipment, a pita fruit and that pulumpa. ( I have finished the game before, which I was lucky enough to get a dragon, very cool, but this is the first time I've ever owned the game myself. )

Re: Azure Dreams
Yeah its abit confusing cause it always asked you if you wanted to quit on the elevator, which is actualy just a save point.
Theres 4 ways of getting out the tower:
1st is to get to the top floor, but I think it only automaticaly lets you out the first time ( the story bit basicaly ).
The second is to die, but you lose all your items if you do that.
Third is to use a wind crystal, its the best way, you dont lose anything ( cept the crystal ).
The forth is like an emergency item, an oleem I think it is, you can sacrifice one of your monsters to get out, not a good idea unless you hatched an egg inside the tower, which you'd lose anyway once you left.
