Re: tactics = tactics advanced? Yeah they are pretty much the same, except in FFTA you have a poorly thought out law system. It basically bans certain things for each battle and promotes others. For example, one battle might ban the use of spears and time magic, and gives you bonus points for using bows, and white magic. So basically if you go into the fight with a team of lancers, and time mages you are screwed.

Re: tactics = tactics advanced? If you enjoyed FFTA then you should definitely like FFT. The game doesn't have the annoying lawy system. It has a great musical score, a great storyline, and is also quite a challenge in some areas. Its the better of the two definitely.

Re: tactics = tactics advanced? i didn't realy find any of FFTA a challenge and i've read a few posts in here about some boss which sounds hard so i think i'll enjoy FFT. just one problem, i havent seen it in shops for over a year lol, gona be hard to find

… Kinda the same with Cloud, you get him at LV1, while your other characters are like at 69, and it takes about 45 turns for him to use OmniSlash, but I leveled him up to around 30, and now it only takes about 8 turns
