    I also think it would be considered a waste of resources to maintain a separate version for a non US English version. If there were some major differences between the two than perhaps it would be viable but thats not really the case here. So get used to it you non efficient spelling version of English person.

Lol, US English is annoying. Was just on MS Word there and I tried to change it from that to UK English because it kept saying I spelt "favourite" wrong, but it kept changing back to US English, typical they wanna be centre of attention. emoticon

Anyway enough with the American bashing, I still love you guys! emoticon

But onto the subject.. I'm not so sure with Wikipedia, I mean if anyone can edit the information you can't really use it as a reliable source. But its pretty good too, and its always the first site to come up on google.

   From what I've noticed they have a pretty good policy about moderating the articles. I'm sure some things slip through the cracks but overall I think its a pretty good resource.

Well thats good then, but I can't see how they can moderate every little bit of information on every page, do they?

I like it now, I actually found out a bit of info that isn't on any other sites. Yay! I know someone that will be happy.

Well the truth is that they can't but a lot of the crap stuff on there is in obscure articles. Generally the larger more popular ones get heavy moderation. Even if they can't catch it all they still have a pretty decent system considering the huge amount of information on there. I've only rarely seen some obvious jokes or misinformation.

When Wikipedia cites it's facts it's all good. I still use Wikipedia on a daily basis.

Besides... I still can't believe how popular it's gotten. When I go to google and type something in. The second or third result always ends up being a Wiki page. Infact there was a short time that Youtube's Wikipedia page was getting more traffic than Youtube through Google. (short-lived)

I probably wouldn't use Wikipedia as a definate site for exact factual answers though, but its a good site.

Yeah I've noticed that too it pops up all the time when you type something onto Google. Wiki and youtube are two extremely popular sites!
