When i did it i wanted to see if sephiroth had a limit break that he was going to do to cloud.
So i waited, then sephiroth attacked and almost killed me so i decided to kill him there and then.
It should be noted that the final battle between cloud and sephiroth is not and actual battle as such. Its more or less cloud killing of the remians of sephiroth inside him.
