blah...

So, I went digging through my crap from when I was in France and found a Final Fantasy AMV I made. Creating this I learned a few things:

1. Making AMVs are hard

2. Making a successful AMV with an out of sync comp is hard
(but I managed to pull it off)

3. I do not understand Windows in French

I didn't have internet at the time, and was limited to clips and other really old AMVs my friend had saved a long time ago on his 300 gig portable hard drive, so bear with me...

I tried to capture the essence of an epic fantasy full of color and adventure with this AMV. Normally, I usually don't have a literal artistic eye, but well, when in France, do as the French do.

I originally wanted to make 2 videos using 2 different songs, this would have been the second part of it, I wanted to make a video for Therion's song Ginnungagap, using clips of the more memorable and beautiful places from the Final Fantasy series, but that would have had to been a montage and I couldn't get that many pictures of places like that.

I guess I decided to post this thread really out of desperation to try and keep the board alive and to show this because I figured I didn't make it for no reason. This only took me about 8 hours to make and I really only made it because I was bored and I happen to love this song.

I think you did a great job achieving what you set out to do. I really like the song too, it fits and you synced the clips with it well. emoticon I've never used movie maker, didn't think it was that hard to throw some clips together with a track on top, but 8 hours... woah.
