thats just plain crazy.

There is lots of new laws being passed all over the world about computers and gaming. China for example are banning the use of online games for longer than 5 hours in a row and if you stay on past that your character will lose stats etc etc.

And in America aren't they bringing in laws about the sale of rated games to minors.

Anyway back to google. they are damn right not to give out that information.

If you have a user account on google, it saves all of the searches you made. They could trace your user account to your IP, and then have all your searches, and what links you clicked on.
They could take things out of context to black mail you, identify potential political opponents, etc.
Information is power, and the Bush administration is all about power. They`re already illeagally wiretaping random people, so why not infringe on people`s surfing habits as well?
