Cathedrals above ground, dungeons below. Thats why in WWII there was a big thing with the Catholic Church, because people were affraid of the unity of Politics and Religion. I dont blame them personally, I despize the idea of a man preaching words, and then 20 minutes later going against his own words with "law" as a reason. If you believe in a higher power and law, then why should some political reasoning rule over your supposed said god? Idk, i find it hypocritical. The Pope is only trying to help in what way he sees best, I do agree that hes not helping, however, he does have good intentions even though they arent comming out that way, and hes definately not an idiot, even John Paul II was a smart man, Benedict XVI is smart as well, they just think in a vast different mannor, but that does not degrade their intelligence. You will find that religious people of any religion are actually quite intelligent.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Amarus)Mon, 25 Sep 2006 06:14:24 +0000 Re: Holy Father, whole lot of trouble?https://bffdreamsforums.runboard.com/p63284,from=rss#post63284https://bffdreamsforums.runboard.com/p63284,from=rss#post63284Lame excuse for not giving a reason. The Pope is an idiot, he had no right to say those things. He knows what type of state the world is in, no need to make it worse. Of course, The Catholics have never been violent ever in their history nondisclosed_email@example.com (General Queeaqueg)Tue, 19 Sep 2006 18:12:20 +0000 Holy Father, whole lot of trouble?https://bffdreamsforums.runboard.com/p63283,from=rss#post63283https://bffdreamsforums.runboard.com/p63283,from=rss#post63283Pope Benedict XVI's speech at Regenburg University (where he used to teach in to 70's) has been stirring up trouble, causing Muslims to take to the streets. I do have an opinion and citations for the uninitiated, but at 1.11am I'm unwilling to give 'em out now, and will do so when I have a better head on my shoulders (you deserve better than half-awake rambling. ^_~) For now, try Wikipedia. Not just the article, but the sources it cites; context is your friend. But more on that 'context' word later.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Arbiter Azariah)Tue, 19 Sep 2006 17:13:08 +0000
