It's quite sad but the earliest one I have played are V and VI(I have Anthology). I REALLY liked V, and VI was good too. But alot of people are talking about IV and III. So I REALLY want to buy those and play them. Who know I might change my mind, but for right now I'm choosing V because it's the only one I played. Oh BTW I haven't beaten V yet. I'm finishing it as I type on this site =P.

IV is very good. I haven't played III because it only came out in Japan and such. IV has been re-released for the gameboy advance, and I might buy that one. I used to have it though, but my save got deleted..

lol 5 is okay..i barely played it but im gonna definately play 5 when it comes out for gameboy advance...its gonna kick a$$

Re: Best FF out of 1-5?
1: boringly generic
2: kind of nice, bet there's not yet room for fully developed story so that's no replacement for getting to choose character
3: big and sadistic; good class system but any RPG over 50 hours has far too much grinding
4 & 5: matter of taste, I prefer story driven 2/4/6 so I voted 4, but 5 is best of it's type (though repeats many ideas already used in 3)
