… You can only get Umaru and Gogo in the world of ruin. Umaru is a Sasquatch and he's available in the mines that you find Mog in. You can fine Gogo if you get eaten by a Sandworm on an island in the northeast. If all your characters get swallowed by it, you will end up in a cave, which if you complete, you will find Gogo.
… Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............. I know i'll probably get made fun of for this but I never got mog LOL. I don't even think I know where the World of Ruin is. I beat the game, but it was so long ago I don't remember where anything is.
… Wierd. I was going through the game and was wondering when Mog was coming and then he just never came. Definantly gotta play this game again to get the characters. And I think I know where the World of Ruin is now. Thanks Cleamatra
… No it is possible to lose Mog actually. Yuo get him when you interfere with a problem with a thief, correct? You have to make a choice at that point, get the Golden Comb (or some item like that..) or rescue Mog. If you rescue Mog, he will join your party. Otherwise...

Yea you gotta rescue Mog he is a pretty good character. Anyways you can really make any character the strongest in FF6 by having them learn all the magic, and equiping them with the espers that make stays higher when you level up.
